Update openldap packages to OpenLDAP 2.4.7 (forced update for db4-4.6.x support, reported via PR pkg/37745 ). OpenLDAP 2.4.x brings a lot of new features, including multi-master support, dynamic configuration and schema changes, automatic reverse group membership, significant performance improvements, etc. One of the most noticeable changes for administrators though is the removal if the slurpd daemon (in favour of the sync replication mechanism). Users of slurpd replication should migrate to sync replication before upgrading to OpenLDAP 2.4.x.

* If PLIST_SRC is explicitly set to an empty value in a package Makefile,
then automatically generate a PLIST that says "${PKGNAME} has no files".

PKG_FAIL_REASON.
* Remove "intentionally empty" PLISTs again.
Now, the easy way to say that a package installs no files is to just

Upgrade the openldap packages to 2.3.24, the new "stable" release. fix avl_* function prototype conflicts on Solaris, so this now builds on Solaris.
Take maintainership.
Drop maintainership for packages that I no longer have time to maintain.
DEPENDS and PKGREVISION bumps because db4's library name changed.
Remove USE_PKGINSTALL from pkgsrc now that mk/install/pkginstall.mk automatically detects whether we want the pkginstall machinery to be used by the package Makefile.
Fix PR pkg/32069 by limiting the FD_SETSIZE used by OpenLDAP to the maximum value supported by GNU Pth when building against GNU Pth.

Fixed pkglint warnings. The warnings are mostly quoting issues, for
example MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR} is changed to MAKE_ENV+=FOO=${BAR:Q}. Some

Checking for attribute support with _POSIX_THREAD_ATTR_STACKSIZE is good, not including unistd.h (which defines the macro) is bad. Correct this mistake to get a working thread stack on DragonFly and other systems which have less than 2 MB by default. Bump revision.
Update databases/openldap to 2.3.11, which is the first "stable" release
in the 2.3.x series. This is a major update over version 2.2.x, and
changes include:

Use -f to force removal of the default files. My error was: /bin/rm /home/reed/pkg/share/examples/openldap/schema/corba.schema.default override r--r--r-- reed/2022 for /home/reed/pkg/share/examples/openldap/schema/corba.schema.default? (For several files it was interactive to remove.) This is when doing non-privileged builds. (An alternative to this is to make it install the *default files with NONBINMODE in the first place.)
Use the correct LDAP type instead of the SASL type, which is only available if building with SASL support. Noted in private mail by Joerg Sonnenberger. Bump PKGREVISION to 1.

Fixed building on NetBSD 2.0 and -current
Bump the PKGREVISION after changes in patch-ag to honor DL_*.
Default PTHREAD_AUTO_VARS to the safer value of "no". Most packages that use pthreads already implement their own probes for pthreads, so we don't need to auto-add the compiler/linker flags.
The man pages should refer to the real location of the config files, not where they were installed (in the example location) during the "install" step. Bump PKGREVISION.
We don't actually want everything to be built with pthreads -- only libldap_r and slurpd. Patch those Makefiles (patch-aj, patch-ak) to pass $(PTHREAD_CFLAGS) and $(PTHREAD_LDFLAGS) to the build. The configure process correctly adds any necessary libraries, so adding $(PTHREAD_LIBS) isn't needed. Bump the PKGREVISION since the LDAP libraries are no longer linked against libpthread. This fixes PR pkg/28259.
Update databases/openldap to the latest release, version 2.2.18. Changes from version 2.2.13 include numerous fixes for locking in the Berkeley DB backend, SASL-encoding fixes in libldap, and many bug fixes in slapd.
Allow bdb backend support to be optional via PKG_OPTIONS.openldap. For now, it is still on by default to preserve compatibility (use option "-bdb" to disable). While here, fix typo in CONFIGURE_ARGS that had caused the dnssrv backend not to build; bump PKGREVISION.
Update linkage to libltdl, now in its own package.
Libtool fix for PR pkg/26633, and other issues. Update libtool to 1.5.10 in the process. (More information on tech-pkg.) Bump PKGREVISION and BUILDLINK_DEPENDS of all packages using libtool and installing .la files. Bump PKGREVISION (only) of all packages depending directly on the above via a buildlink3 include.
Rename Makefile.options to options.mk in the packages that I maintain. This follows the example of the mail/dovecot package, as suggested by <schmonz>.
We only need the full dependency on libtool if we build the dynamic modules. Bump the PKGREVISION.

PKGREVISION bump after openssl-security-fix-update to 0.9.6m. Buildlink files: RECOMMENDED version changed to current version.
OpenLDAP expects to use the BDB-compat headers.
Refine comment a bit to be more precise.
Enable linking against shared libraries, and correctly enable detection of the Kerberos libraries.
Reenable the use of GNU pth on systems without native pthreads. Bump the PKGREVISION. The fix was provided by Nick Hudson and modifies the libldap initialization routine to call the GNU pth initialization routine before using it. The resulting slapd/slurpd passes the test suite included in the OpenLDAP sources. This fixes PR 24473.
If the threads are non-native, then don't build openldap with threads support. The slapd built without threads passes all of its test except for the replication test, which is because slurpd is not built (slurpd requires threads). Bump the PKGREVISION. This is in response to PR 24473. As a debugging aid in case someone attempts to really fix the PR, if _OPENLDAP_REQUIRE_THREADS is "yes", then openldap will forcibly build using GNU pth if native threads aren't available.
LIBTOOL_OVERRIDE and SHLIBTOOL_OVERRIDE are now lists of shell globs
relative to ${WRKSRC}. Remove redundant LIBTOOL_OVERRIDE settings that
are automatically handled by the default setting in bsd.pkg.mk.

Adjust to new pthread.buildlink.mk: remove USE_PTHREAD and replace with appropriate PTHREAD_OPTS incantation, and move the checks for the value of PTHREAD_TYPE below the inclusion of pthread.buildlink.mk.

Rename USE_BUILDLINK2_ONLY to USE_BUILDLINK2 for less verbosity. Also convert a few more packages to use the buildlink2 framework.
Change USE_KERBEROS to PKG_USE_KERBEROS in pkgsrc. There was a "conflict" which the basesrc USE_KERBEROS variable. Discussed on packages@ This fixes PR#17182 from Takahiro Kambe. The problem was pointed out by FUKAUMI Naoki on a Japanese NetBSD mailing list.

Add SASL-based user authentication based on if USE_SASL=YES.
Update databases/openldap to 2.0.21nb1. Changes from version 2.0.21 are building this package _without_ threads support if the threads are non- native. While the package does build correctly using GNU pth, and the clients run correctly, the slapd server isn't able to pass "make test". When built without threads support, only the replication test fails, I think because slurpd isn't built.
Add a rc.d-style control script for slapd.

PKG_SYSCONFSUBDIR is not changeable for this package as "openldap" is automatically appended by the build to "sysconfdir", so change setting from ?= to =. Also remove the MAKE_FLAGS line that was supposed to do the same thing as the previous change, but was apparently not working.
Pass the base directory for PKG_SYSCONF to the configure script - openldap is added by the pkg. (Hi Johnny!) Fixes the install problem noted in the recent bulk build and means that a build of kdebase2, etc... won't fail.

This fixes PR pkg/14339 by Hauke Fath.
SVR4 packages have a limit of 9 chars for a package name. The automatic truncation in gensolpkg doesn't work for packages which have the same package name for the first 5-6 chars. e.g. amanda-server and amanda-client would be named amanda and amanda. Now, we add a SVR4_PKGNAME and use amacl for amanda-client and amase for amanda-server. All svr4 packages also have a vendor tag, so we have to reserve some chars for this tag, which is normaly 3 or 4 chars. Thats why we can only use 6 or 5 chars for SVR4_PKGNAME. I used 5 for all the packages, to give the vendor tag enough room. All p5-* packages and a few other packages have now a SVR4_PKGNAME.

Convert to use buildlink.mk files and mark as USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY.
LIBS is automatically added to CONFIGURE_ENV by bsd.pkg.mk if GNU_CONFIGURE is defined, so simply set LIBS to the appropriate value.
CPPFLAGS is now passed to MAKE_ENV and CONFIGURE_ENV by bsd.pkg.mk, so adapt by moving CPPFLAGS settings to top-level, and removing explicit inclusion of CPPFLAGS into MAKE_ENV and CONFIGURE_ENV.

s/USE_LIBTOOL/USE_PKGLIBTOOL/ Add a new USE_LIBTOOL definition that uses the libtool package instead of pkglibtool which is now considered outdated. USE_PKGLIBTOOL is available for backwards compatibility with old packages but is deprecated for new packages.
Add support to build it on Solaris.
Work around ELF bug with libwrap in a similar way to the ucd-snmp package (pointed out by David Brownlee). We also need to remove -lwrap from the tools directory libraries - hence the post-configure target to make sure SLAPD_LIBS is empty in servers/slapd/tools/Makefile.
Change how Kerberos support is enabled in pkgsrc. Record build options in the BuildInfo file via BUILD_DEFS. These can be displayed using the -B option to pkg_info(1). Add USE_KERBEROS4 to BUILD_DEFS
The OpenLDAP libraries collide with the ldapsdk.
Build shared libraries by using pkglibtool (bump version to "...p1" to indicate change), skip "make depend", add a Kerberos switch, and add a few backends.
